REGARDING EXPECTATIONS & PROBLEMS

First and foremost: be mature. If you have a problem with another player, please try to work things out in an amicable fashion. If, for whatever reason, you are not comfortable with bringing the issue directly to them, please talk to the mods. We're here to help! And remember, we're all here to have fun, so behavior that deliberately creates a mood of unease won't be tolerated. Direct harassment, purposefully offensive behavior, etc will result in a warning on first offense, and a possible ban on subsequent offenses.

If you, a potential player, are concerned about the behavior of another potential player, you can contact us, but understand we will never act on hearsay. We need actual proof of wrongdoing before acting on any reports. Above all, please contact the mods about any potential issues with other players' behavior.

REGARDING IC/OOC DIVIDE

This really ought to go without saying, but IC =/= OOC. Your characters could be the fiercest of enemies, but that doesn't mean you can't be polite OOC!

REGARDING GODMODDING

Don't godmod. Your characters are yours, and other peoples' are theirs. In the case of this game, godmodding will be defined as assuming the actions, thoughts, and behaviors of other characters without regard to the other player, or even against the other player's desires or intentions.

REGARDING FOURTH WALLING

Breaking the fourth wall. Technically, this isn't allowed. At least, your character is not allowed to recognize a character as being from their fictional origin. This is way too meta and at worst annoying. Say your character encounters Dick Grayson from Batman. They are not allowed to make the cognitive connection between Dick Grayson, the person before him, and Dick Grayson, the boy wonder Robin from comic books. We don't need to make up names for canons if they're being brought up in a general sense, but please do not have your characters recognize/name characters from those canons if you can avoid it.

REGARDING ACTIVITY CHECK

Activity Checks will happen monthly. To pass the activity check, players will need to provide proof of ten (10) comments made by their account across two (2) unique sources for each character they play in the game. The sources can be from a post they made, a thread on a post someone else made, a top-level they made, or a top-level someone else made. We ask that you do not source these comments from two threads from the same top-level or post that you made, but instead make sure the sources are actually unique.

Providing only one proof of activity will result in a strike. Players who take a strike will be required to meet normal activity for two (2) subsequent months before they're permitted to take a strike again. Failure to make activity during this period will result in removal from the game.

Failure to provide any proof of activity will result in removal from the game. We ask that if players feel they are not able make activity for the month either post a hiatus or get in contact with us.

REGARDING MINIMUM AGE & ADULT THEMES

You must be 16 years of age or older to play here. In addition, you must be 18 years of age to play explicit scenes.

Adult themed logs are allowed. However, they must be placed behind a cut, friends-locked, and be tagged with proper warnings.

REGARDING CHARACTER LIMIT

Currently, the character limit is three, up to two of which may be from a single canon in cases where the two characters do not have a significant relationship. We know some canons have hundreds of characters that barely if ever interact, so the mods will decide how significant that relationship is on a case by case basis, so if you have any questions, please ask!
